The ultra lightweight shoe for technical mountaineering. It sets a new standard in weight and comfort thanks to the seamless construction of the uppers and the unique thermo-coated external layer.

The revolutionary lacing system, using thermo plastic covered hooks and loops, eliminates the need for stitching and reduces inner foot volumes.  The overall weight is kept to a minimum and comfort is vastly improved thanks to the absence of stitching. Traditional structure and reinforcements have been replaced with “Thermo Tech Injection”, a special thermo plastic coating; the most superior water-repellent technology currently available on the market.  Extra comfort is provided by the internal anatomical padding and stretch tongue integrated in the uppers, which prevents the formation of folds and superfluous layers of material, allowing the foot to move in synergy with the shoe.

The La Sportiva “CUBE” sole by Vibram has been exclusively designed and is equipped with lower profiles thanks to the thin mounting layer between the outsole and the midsole.  This solution reduces the amount of rubber required and thus reduces the overall weight of the shoe. The midsole structure has been completely revisited compared to previous models in the Trango range.  It uses anti-compression polyurethane in the toe and heel and EVA shock-absorbing inserts in the footbed and heel area.  The heelpad benefits from TPU inserts which enhance shock absorption and rebound upon impact with the ground.  The 3-D Flex System, borrowed from previous Trango models, provides a firm grip on the ground at all times.  Trango CUBE: lightweight without limits.
