Olympus Mons Cube is the non plus ultra of technicality for Himalayan mountaineering, arctic crossings and use in extremely cold conditions. It is the first boot designed for arctic crossings thanks to the attachment points for the skipalp tech bindings at the front. It adopts the most avant-garde technologies available on the market to guarantee lightweight, quick fit, safety and water repellence for the mountaineer. The boot brings together the most technological solutions applied to footwear in a product made 100% in Ziano di Fiemme, in the Dolomites. The model features extremely contained external volumes, for a dual thermal high mountaineering boot and reduced weight compared to the previous version becoming the lightest model in its category. It features a super-clean, seamless design, thanks to the innovative UltraSound Welded technology that allows materials to be joined together without stitching. The external Corner Zip™ runs along the full length of the gaiter and allows full opening and direct access to the shell that is equipped with the Boa® Fit System double quick closure system for the differentiated tension regulation of upper and lower part of the inner shell, designed for use with gloves and to facilitate use in extreme conditions. The removable, thermal bootie features an additional insulation layer and speeds up drying time at base camp. The unique lightweight is made possible thanks to the Vibram® Litebase + Vibram® Morflex, a thermal insulation sole, that combines rubber and expanded EVA for maximum lightweight and abrasion resistance.
